Securing your cargo properly
The North Sea in winter becomes one of the most unpredictable stretches of sea in the world,
and while we at Sea-Cargo will do our utmost to maintain product integrity, we need you to play your part too.
Safety of our crew, our ships and your cargo is of the utmost importance to us at Sea-Cargo
- Please pay special attention to securing of cargo within containers and trailers
- Curtain sided trailers should be properly closed
- Please ensure that cargo weights are accurately declared
Doing it right – and doing it safe
All trailers must be fitted with minimum 8 easily accessible lashing rings (in accordance with ISO 9367-2 which is available upon request) so they can be firmly secured to the deck of the ship.
